My AC broke on Thursday night. Friday and Saturday nights I spent over at Maggies, but now I am back home. It is hot. It will be Tuesday before the AC repairman can fix, in the meantime I am spending as little time as possible at home. So don't expect a lot of blog entries. (I did go to a Bridal show in Orlando today, I can't wait to post all that!)
Tomorrow I am going on a day of bus exploration in Tampa. I am waking up, hoping on a bus and going all day. Sure I know most of the city but there are parts I haven't been too. Places I haven't seen. I am sure the more I 'explore' Tampa the more I will like it, hopefully!
This is what I did in London, Frankfurt, Paris, Spokane, and the like and almost always it came out fun (except the few times I ended up way out in the boondocks, but at least in Tampa its all buses and no subways. Subways in languages you can't read, that is French for me, are bad. In a subway everything pretty much looks the same and you end up in the middle of creepy parks full transvestite hookers whistling at you, but thats a story for another day.) I haven't rode a bus, outside of Disney that is, since last summer. I will try to snap some photos with my phone and post them on here.
I am mostly doing it to sit in the AC all day. Right now, at 2am my house is 88 degrees, today it was in the mid 90's. Way too hot to just sit in all day.
I am in the middle of a HUGE blog post, it will be 3 or 4 parts long, so expect that soon. I was going to post part one tomorrow but with the AC out and all I wont have time to finish the research I am doing for it. too hot to think.
